Redhead drake decoy from the Thousand Island region of New York. Circa 1940. Body appears to be in original paint with 2nd coat of red paint to the head. Tiny neck crack but head is solid. Has a great comb paint, finely carved bill and a very proud form. Original weight was removed. Bird is in very good condition. 16" long x 6” at widest point.
