Miniature Redhead Duck Decoys by Unknown Carver
Very nicely done pair of miniature Redheads c1950s or so. The carver is unknown by me. Most likely from the Midwest. Both decoys are in excellent condition, original paint with carved bill and mandibles. Bead or something used for eyes which protrude slightly. Marked on bottom “F-Red Head” and “M-Red Head”. Birds have coat of varnish or something on them for protection. Slight paint loss on tail of hen. Please look closely at pictures and let me know any questions. Measure 7” x 2 1/2”.
